On Tuesday, Rosalie and I went to Walmart to get some groceries and some other random stuff, and when we left, we left with her screaming at the top of her lungs because I wouldn’t let her get her ears pierced. Honestly, I wouldn’t have cared, but I wasn’t 100% sure how her dad would feel about it, and I don’t like bugging him with petty stuff like that while he’s at work. And yeah, in my opinion it’s petty. We were at Walmart this evening, as a family, and he wanted to look on the “As Seen On TV” aisle for some of those cups that have the cup, but a spot for snacks in the top of it, What are they called, Snackeez or something like that? Well, that aisle is right next to the Jewelry Department, so she starts telling her daddy, “Daddy, I want my ears pierced.” OVER AND OVER….and over again… Finally he said, “Okay pick out your earrings.” She chose little Butterflies that are the March birthstone, which is HER birthstone. She also got a matching butterfly necklace with the earrings, which of course, she has on already! It’s so tiny! At first, I thought, Oh my, this isn’t going to go around her neck, it’s going to be too tight, but it’s not!! It’s not too lose, it’s pretty perfect! She says she’s a princess.
The first ear went perfectly, but once it got time to do the second one, I bribed her with everything imaginable lol. New Bracelet, Play Doh (which she is OBSESSED with), she wanted a balloon, I said we’d get one, She wanted a drink, Connor got her one. I was going to let her watch YouTube on my phone, but of course, it wouldn’t load because we were in Walmart.
