4 Things that will help you create an eco-friendly environment

There has been a lot of talk lately about homeowners and their obligations towards the environment. Even if you are not interested in conserving the planet, you can’t close your eyes to all the saving which you can make by going green.

Most eco-bloggers mention small changes such as using eco-friendly light bulbs or consuming less water. In this article, I wish to touch on bigger changes; changes that will render you completely independent from the local energy supplier allowing you to run your household without any interference. What I’m Thankful For…

thankful

Almost every year, starting November 1st, I see people posting on facebook and various platforms online what they’re thankful. I normally do it too, but honestly, I’ll get halfway through it and never actually finish. So this year, I just didn’t even start it, because I figured NO reason to since I never finish. I’m horrible with that! I’ve tried starting project 365’s before and will make it maybe 3 months in, and I’m done.  Continue reading

Supermoon – November 2016

November 14th, 2016, the moon was supposed to be the closest to the earth that it ever had been, and man was it gorgeous! It was nice and clear on Sunday night, but when I went to take pictures of it, my camera battery was dead & I had lost my charger. I knew I wouldn’t have been able to get to Best Buy to get a new one before they closed, so I thought I had lost the opportunity to try to get any good pictures! I tried with my phone, which is a Galaxy Note 5, but phone pictures NEVER turn out as good when it comes to the moon, at least for me, because the zoom isn’t great! And they’re grainy for me.  Continue reading

The Walking Dead

download

Growing up, shows and movies with a lot of blood and gore really made me nauseous, and they still do. Almost every Sunday during the fall/winter, we watch The Walking Dead. I get so nauseous while watching the weekly episode, but there’s just something about the show that I can’t look away from!  Continue reading

My first Lula Roe Experience #lularoe

A few weeks ago, I joined a group on facebook for Direct Sales Swaps. You trade equal value in products that either you sell, or that you just have on hand, that you’ve bought. You can also find people who want to join another company, and either do an enrollment swap, or also do order swaps. I have only done product stock swaps, because of how tight money has been. And it’s all been products that I have purchased from other people and not anything from It Works!  Continue reading

H2O – Water is everywhere!

Water is literally everywhere! From beautiful bodies of water, to the morning dew, rain, snow, it’s everywhere! It doesn’t matter the consistency of it. When I found the Daily Post Photo Challenge and saw that today’s is Water, it was still pretty early when I found it, and parts of my yard was still covered in shade, because the sun hasn’t gotten above the house yet, I grabbed my camera and went outside.  While I tried to get some of this mornings dew captured on some blades of grass, it just didn’t work out like I wanted it to, so I am just going to share some pictures that have been on my memory card for a while, that have to do with this weeks prompt of H2O!
