I think I want a Daith Piercing

I have spoken to 5-6 people who have a Daith Piercing and they have said they help their headaches immensely. I wake up about 5 out of 7 days with a headache, and at least 2 of those days they last almost all day. I don’t know if they’re migraines, if I’ve ever had a migraine, or anything like that, but I do know that on Sunday, I woke up with the worse headache I’ve had in a while. Mine are always on the right side right above my eye.  Continue reading

Weekend Away

We went down to Thayer this weekend, which is where I grew up and where we moved to Kansas City from. That’s also where Hubby’s sister lives, as well as my family. It had been since Christmas that we had been down, so close to 3 months, and you know how Grandparents get when they don’t get to see their Grandbabies 😉  Continue reading

Here for another year!

I can’t believe I have passed my 1 year blog-a-versary with this blog! I guess that’s the good thing about having the domain name on Auto-renew – You don’t have to really think about it! I’m horrible at checking my email frequently, which is why I currently have 3557 unread in just ONE account (and I have a couple accounts…1 for personal, one for It Works, One for this, One for my crochet… yeah…) so when I looked in my email I saw I had one from  Continue reading

Trust in Relationships

Trusting someone means that you feel safe with them, both emotionally and physically, you think they are reliable, and you have confidence in them. I feel that having trust is a very big part of a healthy marriage. Trust is something that two people in a relationship can build together, keeping in mind that trust isn’t something you can demand from people, and it’s a choice that you have to make.  Continue reading

Weekend Away

I had mentioned a few days ago that I was going to be gaining a new sister this weekend, and I did! My family and I left Friday around noon to head down to Branson, MO, where the wedding would be taking place. Of course, I think we did leave our house around 10, but I thought I needed Rosalie a flower girl basket and rose petals, I knew I needed a dress or shirt to wear, and I needed to get the boys their Usher clothes that they had to wear.  Continue reading

Gaining a New Sister

Growing up, I always wanted a sister. My mom had my youngest 2 brothers when I was 12 and 13 years old, and I wished with all my might that one of them was going to be a girl. I didn’t get a sister, but ya know what, that’s fine. The fact that I have 3 brothers, means that eventually, I will also have 3 sisters because they will get married! I hope. Lol. Continue reading

Recovering After Gallbladder Removal Surgery – Part 1

The Gallbladder isn’t necessarily an organ that you need, it is a small organ under the liver that stores bile after it’s released from the liver and before it’s journey into the intestine. From everything I have read online, there are a certain group of people who are more prone to having a gallbladder attack and I fall into a couple of those categories. 2 of those being that I’m female, and I’m overweight.  Continue reading

Do you guys have those friends who you’ve never met, yet you can tell them absolutely anything? The next thing you know, they’re your best friend? Yeah, I’ve got had one of those. I scratched out the I’ve got part, simply because my best friend is no longer here. I am absolutely heartbroken over this. Continue reading

Disagreements in relationships

I’m almost positive I’m not wrong when I say that all relationships have disagreements in them, correct? It shouldn’t matter whether you’re married, just dating, whether we’re talking about a relationship between a mother & child, father & child, or even just in a friendship. I’ll be the first to admit that my marriage with my husband isn’t perfect. I’m sure NO ONE has the PERFECT relationship or marriage, correct? Sure, you might think you do, but honestly, a PERFECT relationship would be one where no one messes up, where there aren’t any disagreements, etc, RIGHT?

One thing I’ve learned in the past 10 + years of being in a relationship with my husband (we’ve been married 9, together ALMOST 11 1/2) is that you can’t hold stuff in. Did I learn this right away or did it take me some time? Would you like to take a guess? Read on to find out if you’re right or wrong!! Continue reading
