Supermoon – November 2016

November 14th, 2016, the moon was supposed to be the closest to the earth that it ever had been, and man was it gorgeous! It was nice and clear on Sunday night, but when I went to take pictures of it, my camera battery was dead & I had lost my charger. I knew I wouldn’t have been able to get to Best Buy to get a new one before they closed, so I thought I had lost the opportunity to try to get any good pictures! I tried with my phone, which is a Galaxy Note 5, but phone pictures NEVER turn out as good when it comes to the moon, at least for me, because the zoom isn’t great! And they’re grainy for me.  Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 7 Premiere 10/23/16 ***SPOILERS***

I said last week that I was going to start doing this, I’m a little later than I would have liked, and ideally, I’ll try to get this post up on Tuesday mornings instead of evenings, but I’ve been working on another afghan and haven’t even thought about any blog posts! That probably makes me a horrible blogger, but none the less…

As most of you know, we just got to watch Season 7’s premiere on Sunday, October 23, 2016. To summarize the finale of Season 6, take a peak at my summary!

Rick and his gang minus a few are held captive by a group of people under Negan’s control. He gets his baseball bat, which has been wrapped in barbed wire, and has also been named Lucille, and has Rick and his gang kneeling in a semi circle.

We knew from some spoilers that SOMEONE would die, but had NO clue who it would be.

The Walking Dead

Growing up, shows and movies with a lot of blood and gore really made me nauseous, and they still do. Almost every Sunday during the fall/winter, we watch The Walking Dead. I get so nauseous while watching the weekly episode, but there’s just something about the show that I can’t look away from!  Continue reading

Trust in Relationships

Trusting someone means that you feel safe with them, both emotionally and physically, you think they are reliable, and you have confidence in them. I feel that having trust is a very big part of a healthy marriage. Trust is something that two people in a relationship can build together, keeping in mind that trust isn’t something you can demand from people, and it’s a choice that you have to make.  Continue reading

Weekend Away

I had mentioned a few days ago that I was going to be gaining a new sister this weekend, and I did! My family and I left Friday around noon to head down to Branson, MO, where the wedding would be taking place. Of course, I think we did leave our house around 10, but I thought I needed Rosalie a flower girl basket and rose petals, I knew I needed a dress or shirt to wear, and I needed to get the boys their Usher clothes that they had to wear.  Continue reading

My first Lula Roe Experience #lularoe

A few weeks ago, I joined a group on facebook for Direct Sales Swaps. You trade equal value in products that either you sell, or that you just have on hand, that you’ve bought. You can also find people who want to join another company, and either do an enrollment swap, or also do order swaps. I have only done product stock swaps, because of how tight money has been. And it’s all been products that I have purchased from other people and not anything from It Works!  Continue reading
