Almost every year, starting November 1st, I see people posting on facebook and various platforms online what they’re thankful. I normally do it too, but honestly, I’ll get halfway through it and never actually finish. So this year, I just didn’t even start it, because I figured NO reason to since I never finish. I’m horrible with that! I’ve tried starting project 365’s before and will make it maybe 3 months in, and I’m done. Continue reading
I am participating in my first ever giveaway hop here on this blog, and just in time for Christmas too! The Kids Did It and The Mommy Island are hosting the 2nd Annual “Super Stocking Stuffer” Giveaway Hop from November 16th at 12:00 pm ET thru November 30th at 11:59 pm ET! There are currently 120+ blogs signed up to hand out prizes to winners!
The theme for this giveaway is focused on small gifts that would be great for stocking stuffers. For my prizes, I am giving away 2 hats from Cali Crochet & More! Keep in mind, these hats do not have to be hats that are currently listed, because I am open to making anything! Continue reading
November 14th, 2016, the moon was supposed to be the closest to the earth that it ever had been, and man was it gorgeous! It was nice and clear on Sunday night, but when I went to take pictures of it, my camera battery was dead & I had lost my charger. I knew I wouldn’t have been able to get to Best Buy to get a new one before they closed, so I thought I had lost the opportunity to try to get any good pictures! I tried with my phone, which is a Galaxy Note 5, but phone pictures NEVER turn out as good when it comes to the moon, at least for me, because the zoom isn’t great! And they’re grainy for me. I started this a couple days ago as a Christmas present and I’m really hoping I get it done in time for Christmas. I had originally hoped to be further than row 20 3 days in, but this is so time consuming and I have to count absolutely every single stitch, because if I’m off even 1 stitch, the whole picture on the afghan will end up messing up.
Wow, I’m going to sound absolutely horrible when it comes down to it, but this blanket was requested to me in July. Yeah, like I said, I sound horrible. I could NOT find the perfect pattern. The little guy who it is for is 16 month old, but both he and his brothers like sticking their fingers through holes on afghans. Continue reading
I said last week that I was going to start doing this, I’m a little later than I would have liked, and ideally, I’ll try to get this post up on Tuesday mornings instead of evenings, but I’ve been working on another afghan and haven’t even thought about any blog posts! That probably makes me a horrible blogger, but none the less…
As most of you know, we just got to watch Season 7’s premiere on Sunday, October 23, 2016. To summarize the finale of Season 6, take a peak at my summary!
Rick and his gang minus a few are held captive by a group of people under Negan’s control. He gets his baseball bat, which has been wrapped in barbed wire, and has also been named Lucille, and has Rick and his gang kneeling in a semi circle.
We knew from some spoilers that SOMEONE would die, but had NO clue who it would be.

It took me a little longer than I would have liked to get this afghan finished, considering it took me 19 days, the normal I typically do them is 21, but I wanted to have this done in plenty of time for it to travel from Kansas City to Tampa by mail and get there by Halloween. Needless to say, I’m cutting it a bit tight, but I finished it! Continue reading
When you are in a marriage, and you have doubts that the person you are married to is being faithful, don’t just come right out and assume and accuse them that they are cheating. Not only could it really hurt them, but it can cause some serious issues in a relationship. Continue reading
Growing up, shows and movies with a lot of blood and gore really made me nauseous, and they still do. Almost every Sunday during the fall/winter, we watch The Walking Dead. I get so nauseous while watching the weekly episode, but there’s just something about the show that I can’t look away from! Continue reading
Trusting someone means that you feel safe with them, both emotionally and physically, you think they are reliable, and you have confidence in them. I feel that having trust is a very big part of a healthy marriage. Trust is something that two people in a relationship can build together, keeping in mind that trust isn’t something you can demand from people, and it’s a choice that you have to make.
